Starbucks Blended Remix Contest

Edit- YAY! I Made it into the semi-finals!

So the whole idea behind this contest (if you haven't read about it) is to take the Starbucks Frappuccino cup template provided and fill it with things you love.

So I was like... what do I love? Well, I really love animals, color and texture. So I took some of my very favorite animals and examined the colors found in my favorite Frappuccino flavors to make color palettes. The butterfly, fox, zebra and bunny are strawberry. The leopard and mountain goat are caramel. The penguin, owl, fishbowl and peacock are chocolate mocha. The elephant and fish are coconut creme and the giraffe is the recognizable green Starbucks straw. I kept the cup shape but made it a little more subtle.

You were completely robbed on this. The "winner" looks like an unfinished underpainting. It's shit like that why I hate art competitions - the judges rarely know what the fuck they are looking at.

what an amazing idea! and I'm sure starbucks will dig it cause they are into keeping the environment happy and conserving the wildlife, etc. I'm glad you made it into the semifinalists!!
