The dragon comes in many shapes and sizes, and a variation of it can be found in the mythology of nearly every culture worldwide. This particular dragon is based off the European version or commonly "St. Georges Dragon".
The European dragon (or firedrake as it is also called) is best known for its fearsome desire to eat maidens, its massive wings and its ability to breath fire. It is sometimes confused with its native cousin the Wyrm who can also breath fire but is wingless and cannot fly.
